In 2002, SWAA was proud to host the Teach-In "The Politics of Welfare: Welfare to What? Debunking the Myths." The event, which was followed by a demonstration against President Bush's "Welfare to Weddings" proposals was a great succes. (Click on the Teach-In link to the left to learn more.)
